Andini Wijendaru is a maker based in Indonesia. Through her sewing studio, she strives to create one-of-a-kind waste-free garments by using leftover fabrics and scraps.
She believes that fashion can be a force for good if all stakeholders take responsibility to minimize environmental harm and put people and the planet before profit and prestige.
Denim is a challenge for Andini as she usually works with traditional Indonesian textiles. She wanted to bring out the delicate side of denim’s masculine character and was inspired by Alexander McQueen’s denim dresses, which look bold and classic, yet chic and elegant. A wide-leg open-back puffed-sleeved jumpsuit is the perfect design for those who want to dress up without a dress. It’s easy to look your best in a denim jumpsuit without being over or under dressed. This jumpsuit will make you feel like a queen!
From each pattern purchase, we give 50% to the designer. Our goal is to support independent creatives and promote a democratic and open society.

Fabric Recommendations:
Medium-weight denim works best to balance comfort and structure. Consider using lightweight denim for a sleeveless jumper version for summer. To minimize bulk, consider using lightweight cotton for the inner pockets, flaps, and waistband. The sleeveless romper version is made in “Jackson Organic Denim” (100% organic GOTS cotton, 11 oz/372 gsm). The puffed sleeve jumpsuit is made in “Railroad Denim” (100% cotton, 11 oz/372 gsm). Both fabrics by Merchant & Mills.
