Suna Mantori is a sewist and doctor based in Brighton, UK. She is inspired by garments with unique design details that transcend the fleeting nature of fashion trends.
Suna created ARTEMIS to be playful yet practical, flattering yet comfortable, and adaptable to changing bodies. In Greek mythology, Artemis is a bold adventurer, and Suna wanted anyone wearing this garment to feel that way too. Adventurous beginner sewists welcome!
From each pattern purchase, we give 50% to the designer. Our goal is to support independent creatives and promote a democratic and open society.

Fabric Recommendations:
ARTEMIS can be made in a wide range of woven fabrics. Choose a heavier weight woven fabric such as denim, drill, corduroy, or twill for a more structured look. Alternatively, choose a light or medium-weight woven fabric such as hemp, linen, cotton, or chambray for a softer and more casual look and maximum comfort. The light blue sample is made in fine blue hemp chambray (100% hemp, 3.8 oz/130 gsm). The dark blue denim sample is made in prewashed denim hemp and organic cotton (55% hemp, 45% organic cotton, 9.3 oz /315 gsm). Both fabrics from Ecological Textiles.
