The KYRANA design is inspired by classic 1960s style and popular colours of the era, like olive green, garnet, and mustard yellow. It combines the freeing look of the A-line silhouette, the fun and youthful spirit of the mini dress or ruffled skirt, and the hippie style of the tunic cut. The special button detail on the back and the patch pockets are KYRANA’s signature elements. From just one pattern, you can make a variety of unique pieces and combine them in limitless ways!

Andini Wijendaru is a maker based in Indonesia. Pursuing her passion for fashion full-time, she uses traditional textiles as a way to preserve local, artisanal traditions.

Fit and size:
Choose your size based on your hip circumference. Add a recommended positive ease of 7.5–11"/19–27 cm.

Ajak Majok is 66"/168 cm tall and wears the KYRANA ruffle dress in size 3. Anastasia Lapsuy is 56"/142 cm tall and wears the KYRANA tunic in size 5.

Fabric recommendations:
Choose flannel, twill, or lightweight wool. For the blouse, you can use lightweight fabrics like viscose. The sample navy blue maxi dress is made from organic melange flannel (100% organic cotton, 8.7 oz/295 gsm) by Lebenskleidung. The sample olive green tunic dress is made from “Tottorri Cross Green” (100% cotton seersucker, 2.95 oz/100 gsm) by Merchant & Mills from Materials Helsinki.

Files:
A4 (home printing) and A0 (copy shop printing) PDF files with sizes nested. Sewing instructions are in a separate PDF file.
