The Cargo trousers are fitted around the hips and have straight, slightly cropped legs. With their button-up closure, they give a hint of a 1970s vibe. An interest in storytelling and language led Mila Moisio, the cofounder of TAUKO magazine, to study literature and write her master’s thesis on cuban poetry. With the industrial sewing machine she received as a graduation present, she started to develop ways to tell stories with garments. For Mila, falling in love with the rhythm of a written story feels similar to creating a new design.

Fit and size:
Choose your size based on your waist and hip circumferences. Add a recommended positive ease of 1.2–2"/3–5 cm. Pick the size that is the best match for your waist and hips.

Fabric recommendations:
Choose a medium weight or heavy fabric with no stretch. The trousers are made from a vintage cotton/polyester blend (4 oz/yd2 / 140 g/m2) that used to be a bed linen.
