The ANELMA dress is a loosely fitted maxi dress with gathered sleeves. The garment can be adapted to different bodies. Although the design flirts with a classic urban dress, the designer, Fanni Lyytikäinen would love to see it worn on a nature hike. All details matters and this garment features as little cutting waste as possible. The long ribbons and strips on the sleeves and back are made from scraps that are left over after the main dress pieces have been cut from the fabric.
You can combine Fanni’s two designs, the ANELMA dress and the FRITHA trousers, to create a complete look with mono-materials.
Fanni Lyytikäinen is a Helsinki-based multidisciplinary designer and artist with a background in styling, set design, trend forecasting, art directing, illustration, and fashion design. She recently graduated with a Master of Arts in Fashion Design from the Aalto University School of Art, Design and Architecture.
