LOHI embodies the sensations of a summer day – comfort, breathability, fluidity – and is easy to dress up or down for any occasion. It’s a low-waste design constructed with an arc that separates the front from the back, creating a chic low/high hemline. LOHI has four design variations. With a simple adjustment to the overall length of the template, LOHI can be a dress, a skirt, or even a blouse!

Cindy Bithell’s love of design extends from her career as an architect to her work as a clothing and pattern designer. A believer in the architectural theory “form follows function”, her designs are functional and push the boundaries of garment detailing through an emphasis on zero- and low-waste design. Cindy lives in Utah, USA, with her husband, two daughters, and two dogs.

Fabric recommendations:
LOHI is designed for a lightweight fabric with a soft drape, such as silk, chiffon, a light linen, a viscose blend, or Tencel twill. The dress sample (version B) is made in “Crepe Viscose Fleur Bleue” (100% viscose, 4.72 oz/160 gsm). The skirt sample (version C) is made in “Viscose Chiffon Flamme” (100% viscose, 2.36 oz/80 gsm). Both fabrics are by French Couture from Inkuri.
