Inessa’s idea for KALLIO was to create a garment that was simple yet elegant and original. This top with sleeves and sleeveless variations was inspired by artists’ work jackets, and the name comes from the Kallio district, a popular area for artists in Helsinki.
Inessa Jääskeläinen is the founder of the Inkuri fabric and tailoring shop. The love of fabrics and sewing has always been a part of her life. Confidence, comfort, elegance, originality, freedom, and clarity are the qualities Inessa values when designing a garment.
From each pattern purchase, we give 50% to the designer. Our goal is to support independent creatives and promote a democratic and open society.

Fabric Recommendations:
Choose a light to medium-weight woven fabric such as cotton, wool, viscose, or a blend like viscose/linen or linen/cotton. The blue sample with long sleeves is made in “Kallio” viscose (100% viscose, 6.49 oz/220 gsm). The light pink sleeveless sample is made in a linen and cotton blend (50% linen, 50% cotton, 5.9 oz/200 gsm). Both fabrics by Inkuri.

Files:
A4 (home printing) and A0 (copy shop printing) PDF files with layers, sizes nested. Sewing instructions are in a separate PDF file.

After purchasing, you will receive a link to download the PDF files. There are no delivery charges for the digital patterns, as they are delivered automatically via email immediately after purchase. PDF patterns are only eligible for return and refund if the provided download links have not been used. If the download links have been used, the product will not be refunded.
