IRIS is an ode to romance and elegance. The blouse is a light and voluminous design with a round gathered neckline, puffed raglan sleeves, small cuffs, and a concealed button placket. You can also use this pattern to make a flounced dress with the same details at the top of the bodice. The dress version is gathered at the waist with a double-fabric waistband and features a softly gathered ruffle skirt.
Francesca Barbato has always had a passion for creating. Whether making beaded bracelets or dried flower compositions, she’s always looking for a way to create something with her hands. She decided to take a course in pattern making and sewing in 2007. And she’s still on that journey – now she creates her own patterns, runs her own online sewing supplies boutique, and helps other sewists through her sewing blog.
