The GENOVEVA cape is a testament to Susanne Hirt´s commitment to movement and functionality. Perfect for walking or cycling, this cape offers protection from the elements with its rainproof design. Featuring two spacious patch pockets at the front, it offers ample storage for various essentials. Internal straps ensure a snug fit and added safety while cycling. Illuminated bands on the back and hood enhance visibility in low-light conditions. When not in use, the cape folds neatly into its integrated back pocket, doubling as a comfortable cushion for impromptu naps on train journeys.

Susanne Hirt is a renowned master tailor and designer from Switzerland. With a passion for sewing and pattern design, she shares her expertise as a teacher at the F+F School of Art and Design in Zurich.

Fabric recommendations:
Choose a light to medium-weight rainproof woven fabric. Fabrics such as oilskin, coated cotton, or water-repellent nylon work very well. Depending on the lightness and drape of the fabric you choose, the boxy silhouette of the design will be more pronounced. If you’re just starting your sewing journey, we recommend coated cotton instead of nylon.

Files:
A4 (home printing) and A0 (copy shop printing) PDF files with layers, sizes nested. Sewing instructions are in a separate PDF file.

After purchasing, you will receive a link to download the PDF files. There are no delivery charges for the digital patterns, as they are delivered automatically via email immediately after purchase. PDF patterns are only eligible for return and refund if the provided download links have not been used. If the download links have been used, the product will not be refunded.
